Directed by
Rumi Jaffrey the film 'God Tussi Great Ho' stars the
brawny-khan Salman Khan along with Priyanka Chopra in the
lead roles. Amitabh Bachan has got a very special role for
him. In supporting roles are industries very well know
actors Anupam Kher, Sohail Khan and Rajpal Yadav.
As every one knows it's Almighty who helps Bruce here. To start
from the scratch the movie wasn't promoted well. Khan
himself was promoting films Bachna Ae Haseeno, Singh Is King
and Chamku on his show Dus Ka Dum. Amitabh Bachnan was busy
with the World Tour. So that says it all. The movie lacked
the appeal, hype and excitement. |

The plot
is that Arun Prajapati (Salman Khan) aspires to be
an Anchor but bad luck always favors him and all
his efforts keep going tattered. Failure is what he
always gets. Even his love life is no that
satisfactory to be dealt with. He keeps blaming God
for all the problems he faces. To him God is solely
responsible for these acts in his life.
Alia
Kapoor (Priyanka Chopra) is a very smart, confident and a
brave girl. Arun and Alia work for the same TV

channel. Arun
always tries to fancy his chance to propose Alia but when all is
not well then it never ends well. To add to his troubles
enters Rocky (Sohail Khan) smart and a very successful guy.
Now who would Alia opt for? the looser Arun or the confident
Rocky? As usual Arun again admits that God is responsible
for the happening. One day surprisingly God (Amitabh
Bachan) appears in front of him and grants him special
powers and what all leads to this is the rest of the story. God
Tussi Great Ho is a complete entertainer. Some moments are
really funny and well executed by Salman Khan. But the real
blemish is that the director has put too many overtly crazy
moments in a very flimsy plot. This is what that deviates the
audience to grasp the main point. Of course there are even
better points in the movie to be focused on. But the main
story line revolves on one particular character leaving
others doing just a side business. Unnecessary intervening
of songs also was a big setback. |

The
first half runs at a very smooth pace where as the
second half gets really draggy as the movie goes on
and on. Some moments lack the hold and some snub the
entertainment. Climax is a bit fine.
Music
composed by the duo Sajid-wajid wasn't up to the
mark in God Tussi Great Ho. Dialogues are good and
cinematography veryfine.

Salman Khan
very well fits into this role. Just like in the movie partner
he with his
serious coming timing is fantastic. If anything gets this
movie going then it would be just because of Salman Khan.
Priyanka had nothing to do much here, Sohail was good as a
villain and his kind of acting, Anupam Kher as usual superb,
Rajpal carries of his role well.
God Tussi Great
Ho is just another entertainer which you will like if there
aren't better movies left to watch.
